Multifamily programmes pay per unit, which is why the totals on a building look nothing like a single‑family rebate. We work with owners and property managers on what a building qualifies for before the scope is fixed.
What that looks like on a 20-unit building
- In-unit heat pump HVAC — $1,500 × 20 = $30,000
- Central heat pump HVAC — $1,000 × 20 = $20,000
- Base rebate for several upgrades — $500 × 20 = $10,000
- Electrical subpanels — up to $1,000 × 20 = $20,000
- Central electrical upgrade — up to $5,000 per property
